Can an older Map sensor be wired into a newer truck without throwing the CEL?
 
Most likely won't work correctly I've hear there is a voltage difference in the early to later versions. Be best to stay with you correct MAP sensor for your truck. If you asking this for module I would check with the manufacture for the correct module for you truck and wiring.
 
I believe the voltage reference is different. never heard of it working, And im sure if it did companies would make adapters.
