Got a 98 24v that I just had a new Suncoast transmission put in and it is still not holding a lockup. When you are driving steady at 40 or so the RPM jump around torque converter locks and unlocks. I think I have tried the simple stuff but need all the help I can get at this point.

Help us out here, what "simple stuff" have you done? Knowing what has already been done will help us give you some advice.
there is a wire on the passenger side by the battery, it has a gray connection that gets corroded. Take that connection out and solder it together. It fixed mine, and it was cheap and easy. Mine was layin on the fender well by were the factory airbox would be. Hope that helps.

When mine did this i reset the voltage on my apps and it went away. There is a thread on here somwhere about how to do it.
