99 24v fuel problems HELP

I have got a 99 24v that id been working on trying to help a buddy out kinda deal. Its a 99 with 181000 miles on. When drive 10 to 15 min it seems pretty consistent it starts to pop and crack like and chugs the white smoke. And wont rev past 1800ish then it dies from there 1700 1600 1500 1400 and so on. .then kills it self eventually. Had to start and some got to crack injector line to and air out and the will usally start.. replaced the the injection pump last night and fuel filters. Feel free to try and help in any way possible thanks. O and this also has a edge comp. But I had it turned off last night to thanks again

I would check the fuel lines on the frame and the sending unit. Also check fuel pressure.

Could be the injector pump. Its common for new ones to be crap. I'm on my fourth one in a year from industrial. Sounds like timing. My wife's cousin had one do the same 3and months ago. It was a brand new pump from industrial. Sent it back got another and all better!
