99 24v wanting to go from auto to manual please help

i have searched threads for 2 days now and havent got all my questions answered yet, i am wanting to swap my auto out for a manual i found a 6 speed with dd clutch and hydros for a good price, i know the transfer case shaft has to be changed to the biggerr one i also know the driveshafts need changed, anyways does the computer have to be changed i could understand going from a manual to a auto changing it but cant see going from an auto to manual and what about the starter do i need a spacer any help would be appreciated thanks fellas
 
If you keep the automatic transmission ECM, the engine will not have the anti-stall fueling feature that the manual transmission have.

Everything else should work just fine computer wise.
