99 loosing boost with edge on

Hey guys, so i just put a comp drag box on my 99 and it fuels hard and what not down low, but when on the highway at WOT with the box on it hits 30psi of boost and then drops to 28 when only at 2400rpm.. turn the box off and it pulls 32psi.. I dont think Im draining the pump (Raptor 150 lift pump) but its just wierd that the truck almost likes it up top without the edge vs with it.. could it be a bad map sensor?

no boost leaks, i dont see why even if it was defueling though it would loose boost if it pulls more with the box off
 
another thing i thought i should add, i have an industrial injection HO vp44 on a SO engine.. could it be possible there is too much timing between the edge and what the vp alone produce? Maybe turning down the timing on the edge could help?

because it fuels harder so it opens to let the exessive air out..chek for that
