'99 low power

I know a little about 12 valvers and less about th 24's. This is a customers 3/4 4X4 manual trans. He just got it, matter of fact, for nothing from his boss. Starts fast, runs smooth, just seems to be a real dog. Filters replaced, pressure never below 12 psi. Cruising at 60 mph and mashing it you would think it was really loaded. Using the scan tool, the boost never gets over 15 and seems to be slow building. No codes, recent VP44.

What do I need to look at?

I forgot to mention there is never any smoke, cold, hot, never.

Sounds like normal for a stock truck, they didn't run more then 17psi. Put a wire tap box on there it will run alot better.

Its stock. Its like you say "give me fuel!" and the computer says "OH, you wanted fuel, sorry, here comes a little bit."

24 valves should have come from the factory with a 60 horse box.
