A/C wtf is wrong

it worked fine about a week ago. I left it for about a week and come back and start it kick the a/c on high and it only blows out the de-frost vents and not out the vents that blow at your face! I moved the witch to the feet and it blowed down their but not the vents. anyone have a clue of how this stuff works. i have no idea

this little treasure was found out after i took apart a u-jiont this morning at 7:30 on a sammy and found that a mouse had got into the pickup and chewed a bunch of chit up! and it goes into the body shop saturday to get the hood reclear coated cause of the wonderful dodge paint. only dodges*bdh*

The vacuum pump controls most of the vent system.

You may need to check your lines to make sure that none of them are broken or leaking.

Does your cruise control still work? (assuming an 01, not 01.5)

I dont know about the criuse didnt drive it cause the a/c didnt work, so we drove my brothers to school this week. i really dont know if it a 01 or 01.5 but it has the disc breaks on the rear. and where exactly is the vacum pump?

If it defaulted to the defrost its a vacuum issue. Sounds like your mouse chewed a vacuum line.

Yeah the same think happened when my f-n pet squirls chomped mine in two. check the line on the passenger side fire wall. thats where they ate mine. i just shrink wraped it.
