A LOT of white smoke..

i think it is just a normal cold start up.
but it will bellow out white smoke until the idle smooths then no smoke at all.

2006 6.0, 90k mies as of tonight when i rolled in.
 
Smell it. If it smells real strong of diesel, you may have an injector problem. If it does not have a strong smell, it is steam. Either way, if it is a lot, it is not good. As the wetaher gets colder, a little more water vapor may be ok, but if it smells like diesel, any amount it bad.

Wait until it smells like coolant and looks like some cheech and chong movie with the white smoke bellowing out the pipe.
 
Its normal for it to smoke a little when it is cold out. As long as it stops smoking when the truck warms up.
 
well just got back from a 13+ hour NON stopp haul with it.
i have an injector problem.
truck will go in shop as soon as i get my dodge out haha.
 
it is an egr problem & injector problem.
i remember these symptoms from when i had my 03.
 
Mines does it.. but when I slam it back to stock everything is fine. Its just the tunning for me.
