A question for the AFC gurus

Can anyone tell me if a AFC off a 8.3 cummins will work on a 5.9 cummins? I picked one up yesterday to tinker with but, I cant get full travel out of it with shop air.

Yes it is a p7100.

I would imagine it should be the same. Did to grind the barrel on the foot and change the washer out to a finder washer?

Yes I did all of that. I just compared it to one from a 5.9 and it is totally different.
