AAM 11.5 Clunk

I just picked up a dually and the rear end has a clunk going between reverse and drive! Something I can adjust out or a death sentence? There is a leak at the pinion seal! 290k on speedo.

Most likely either worn bearings or even gears, just rebuild time not death sentence.

Sure it's the rear end and not just a u joint completely crapped out? If it is the rear end, pull the cover off and see what you see. Could possibly be dry due to ignoring the pinion seal leaking for too long but its unlikely. Just gonna have to check it out.
