abs brakes

I got an 2002 dodge 3500 and when driving down the road the front left wheel speed sensor drops to zero and then back to the correct speed as ur going down the road. Also when you are almost at a complete stop the pedal goes half way down and goes into abs mode . This truck does not have any abs codes nor any other codes. Changed the speed sensor for the left front and that didnt help. The only thing i think it could be is the abs computer but dont know please help

yes it was fine the left front is the only one that screws on on the scanner while driving down the road

Did you change just the sensor or complete wheel bearing?

the dealer told me under the hood is a box.1 16 pin 1 6 pin remove them and check for the nasty green color water sometimes gets it and rots the connections.mine has same problems

I would recommend changing the whole wheel bearing assembly. The tone ring could be bad or the bearing could have play. Best to hook the sensor to a scope to see if it has distorted waveform to verify.
