I have a 1999 dodge 3500 4x4 with all wheel abs. On the scanner the left front wheel loses signal while driving down the road . I have changed the hub, abs wheel speed sensor , and the abs pump and controler and still the same thing . I have also ruled out the wiring by hard wiring the abs wheel speed sensor to the abs module and still loses signal. When it loses sigal while driving if at the right time when it is gone and you try to stop the pedal goes to the floor and cant stop

*Sits back and scratches while pondering*

*still pondering*

The only thing that makes any sense is a bad sensor out of the box. I am assuming it's a hall effect type, they require a power and a ground so have you checked to make certain the power to the sensor is not getting interrupted somehow? It is very common to have the power supplied separately from where the sensor output goes. I have seen hall effect switches at work be bad from the get go, reason I say this.

All I can think of, hope this helps!

You have faulty brake solenoid.

If You loose ABS signal from wheel sensor, You only loose automatic ABS effect, ABS and BRAKE light goes on.

IT will not effect braking power or dead pedal syndrome.

My tuck is from factory 4 abs, but my new front axle is without ABS sensors. I only have ABS and BRAKE light active in my instrument cluster and my brakes work without problems (because ABS is off , I can lock my brakes)

it affects how the brakes work if it is at the point of when it loses signal the brakes start jerkin and its like it is in abs panic mode.

Unplug bouth front ABS sensors and make a test run.

Have You checked or replaced this part ?

Hyave You Looked At The Reluctor Ring Of Made Sure Your Hub Is In Good Working Condition? Since You Have Checked Everything Else, If Not Then I Would Have To Agree With Astross On The Cab Module.

brand new hub with ring have unpluged the sensors and they work until u un plug them. plug them back in and they work . i got no problems with the rf and the rear sensor only problem is the lf sensor that cuts out
