Anyone had any problems with the ABS crap on these trucks??? Like the control module on the driverside fender????

see i have a rear speed sensor code that i cant get to go away in the PCM. I have replaced all the sensor and plugs all the way to the control module. from what i gather reading the wiring diagram the signal from the rear speed sensor goes strait to the abs control module then to the pcm. I have changed the pcm out and it still there so it has to be the wiring up close to the module or to the pcm from the control module

i was told that there is a ring on the gear or something like that in the rearend and when the rearend is going out it can cause the ring to be off and set the light off (or well on in this case)

This is what my rearend guy was telling me. When mine came on i took it in and the clutches were almost gone.

Ive never had one apart to see.

Ever since my front bearing assemblies went out and I changed them, my ABS and brake light stay on. I have no codes so I cant help. But if I get to the bottom of it I'll let you know.

I replaced my module with a wrecking yard unit at 200,000 miles because of moisture intrusion but only the electrical part, not the valving part. I hear it's a pain to bleed. Been great ever since!

Rear end had better be fine. It has all new internals along with d80 locker and bigger axles. took the cover off a while back and it all looked fine.
