Acceleration Meter results for stock LLM!!!

Nothing too exciting guys but figured i'd share. My buddy has a stock 08 llm extend cab 2x4 that weighs 6400 with no one in it. We decided to use this performance meter, a Beltronics unit, on his truck to see what we got. Well with me (200lbs) and him (165lbs) we ended up with a best (only two runs) of 15.05 at 90mph with a 2.2 60' and 0-60mph of 6.5 seconds. All in all I thought very impressive for something that stock with all the emissions crap.

The second time he ran it in tow/haul mode and it seemed to make a difference. Was that all in my head or is that the way to run these trucks atleast in stock form? :Cheer:

my friend just bought a LMM single cab 4x4.

he put a 5" exhaust and a efi live tune the first day and ran a 13.3 with 3 people in the truck.

he probably would have ran faster if he would have let the tranny learn the new power, but he was bringing it to the transmission place the next day for a build anyway.

he got a smokin deal, he paid around 22k for the truck. it has a good bit of options too.

That's pretty stout. I'm doing my damndest to get him to get rid of the DPF and do the typical bolts ons of intake, exhaust, and tune.

i hated riding in it it made my truck feel so slow:bang


yeah he ll be adding all the other goodies, gauges, intake, egr block off, ppe race plug and whatever else bolt ons.

should do pretty well at the track, especially with slicks at both ends.
