Adapter plate bolt size

Like the title says any one know the size of the bolts, i need to get an engine on the stand and cant remember what size they are. I was thinking 12x1.50

The bolts that go into the trans side are 3/8-16.
or are you looking for the bolts that hold the plate to the engine?

Plate to the engine. Don't trust hanging 1500lbs with 4 3/8s bolts in a cast aluminum plate.

Yep! Agreed, though the m12x1.5 sounds right, old head bolts should fit

M12x1.75mm. 1.50mm is a fine pitch thread.

Why not bolt it to the engine mount holes? You'll have a lot less stress on your engine stand with a 800 lbs. long block thats 34" off the stand, when it can be 14" off the stand.
