Adrenaline Defueling. WTF?

Truck is Defueling at WOT in 3rd gear when it gets ready to go into OD. It even pops up on the Pulse that it is DEFUELING. I have all of the defuel settings turned off. My Adrenaline still has the factory tune on it, and the only thing that I can think of is that is Defueling because of too many RPMs when the tranny is getting ready to go into OD. Do you think a different tune would take care of this?

When i first got mine it did that, i changed the tune to one of the older comp tunes and it worked fine

On my 01 i get defueling if the coolant temp is lower than 190.Just something to think about.I have a edgedrag /smarty.Maybe thats your problem?

Well it only comes loaded with the 1000 tune.
Try the Comp tune. My truck will hardly run when i load the Dyno tune.

ok. I need to figure out how to unlock the custom tuning on the pulse. Guess i will call McCann tomorrow and find out.

No need. Go to the Quad site and down load all the tunes. Then load them onto your AD.
There is nothing to unlock. You can store 3 different tunes on your Pulse.

Jesse, you need to update your pulse! Thats it, pull it out of the truck and update it with the latest flash they have online and your good. I believe if it is higher than 1.1.3 your good. 1.1.4 was back in the day to unlock the custom tuning.
