I love the power of this box, especially when i went from the comp to the 3k tune, but now i have another issues. It seems to reset to level 0 every time i start the truck.

i checked and rechecked the wiring. I also called quad. he put me on hold, then said he'd call back, and I never heard back.

anyway, heres a vid

did you unplug the box for a few minutes? some times they get a lil glitchy.

yes, the battery was disconnected for like 2 hours yesterday, did it before and after.

man this box sure is mean. I had a little bucking tonight too, 40% throttle input or so. only happened once though, then back to running strong. Still resetting everytime I start it.

It sounds like it's loosing power whenever you turn the key off. The only time my pulse would reset to 0 was when I would unplug the main box from the harness.

its loosing power while im cranking it seems. when i turn the key on to let the pumps prime it says pl08

its not the hugest of deals because i dont drive the truck too much, but its still annoying.

Hey Ryan BigBlue is on to something, When I had my Quad I accidentally hooked it to the wrong fuse and had your problem, some of the fuses will have power when the key is in the on position but loose power while the truck is cranking, you have to hook it exactly to the fuse listed by Quad, good luck with your ADR, mine was nasty but not nearly as smooth as my TST or my Drag Comp, and in the end I had to go with better driving manners over more power:)

I dont know if you got the instructions so her ya go

Finally for power, begin by
routing the short, solid red wire to the
engine compartment fuse box, and attach
the fuse tap to the #15 mini fuse
(this is also a 15amp fuse). Pull the
fuse out and attach the leg of the fuse
tap on one of the fuse legs. (Image

Now route the longer, red with a
white tracer, power wire to the interior
fuse panel. You may go through the
same hole or slit you made to route
the Control POD plug and wiring to the
Adrenaline module for this power wire.
Finally, attach the fuse tap to the leg of
the #9 mini fuse (this is a 10 amp fuse)
(Image A-18)
Start the truck and check for any leaks

well, its definitely hooked to #9 in the cab. my instructions with the new box (version 2 box i guess) have me wire it directly to power for the other battery. :banghead::banghead:

Something's funky in the video, because it looks like the control pod loses power when you crank the engine, and that should not happen. Have you tried using a different fuse for power? I can't recall for sure off hand, but I think fuse #17 works also (cluster). It would almost seem as if you were hooked up to fuse #8 instead of #9 though (no insult intended).

fuse 17 i use for my gauges. im 99% sure its number 9 that its hooked into, but i will recheck. its the same one i used for my juice with attitude and never had any issues with that. But i will check and let you know.

Any chance you could swap them (the connectors) around and see if it makes a difference?

Ryan my TST does the same thing but it keeps the level, what year is your truck again? try the connection TST uses under the hood and move the in cab fuse wire to another location, hopefully it works, goodluck.

my truck is a 2001. i checked and verified that it is the right wire to the #9 fuse.

my gauges are actually tapped into number 16, which was an open spot.

i did not switch them.

See this is some of the things I was worrying about "Glitches" as I am thinking of selling off the edge drag comp with hot unlock for either and ADR or TST with Comp tune. With my big tires I would like to be able to tach it out a lil more then 3200 before I start losing power. Then I hear of poor customer support with the ADR.

the adr beats the drag comp hands down. and it pulls strong to 3600 where i shift. if this is the only issue and the occasional bucking, i will deal with it.

Ya, I will probaly get rid of the Dcomp as I want the most out of the new setup when Jeremy is done with it.

I think your battery is low. it sounds slow to start. If the power is less than "x" volts, many devices shut off.

that thought crossed my mind also. i guess one 800CCA battery in the bed isnt going to cut it.
