when you install a 4k gsk does it slow down the levers vertical travel?

trying to figure out how the plate profile is "bs" and why we all should be running a zero plate

thanks, don

Run a zero plate. Adjust the AFC. If you figure you have boost you need fuel, regardless of the RPM.

it does slow down vertical travel. that's why some profiles don't marry well with GSK's like that... they spend too much time on the nose. when I took the #6 plate out of my 97 and ground it flat back 6-7yrs ago, not only did I get a bunch of people on TDR gasping about the fact that I ground my own plate, I also got a much better running combo for my 4k setup :)

the AFC will control fueling per boost... so it will limit fueling down low untill you get up on the turbo. I've never had use for any sort of defueling on top

with my race bike trailer attached the package weighs 22,500 pounds

i run a #10 plate and when pulling a grade at high rpm it does pull fuel (with lots of boost)

thought that was a good thing?

have a 215 pump with the stock gov springs right now

will grind the stock plate flat and give it a shot

take it i wont want anything softer than the stock spring?

thanks, don

alright, i will try it

will take the stocker over to my buddies and mill it flat

think i should make the 'plane' a little rearward or just go off the flat part of my #10?

thanks
