I was wondering about all this AFC business :what: and how people are running almost smoke-free with big sticks and DVs. my truck hazes ALOT at idle and cruising around town 1/8 to 1/4 throttle it looks like power strokes and VP'd trucks at WOT. i slid my afc housing all the way back and turned the star wheel all the way back to the less smoke position and still. cruising at 70 the things hazes quite a bit too, you can constantly see it in the mirror. I have an auto 180 pump (never been off) with JL 5x.016's, PDR 4k's,full cut DV's, mack plug and a TST 10 plate:blahblah1:. i have not ground the foot yet. SO i am very interested in what you guys are doing as far as "AFC TUNING".

i've tooken them out 3 times and gone through them and cleaned them and still.

By issue i meant an injector that isn't clean Ie haze at idle and so forth. May need a different set to get rid of the haze,
 
Full cuts are most likely the culprit...Full cuts on the street "generaly" yield
your complaint.

I agree. The full cuts are most likely the culprit.

get you some 191's or some .022's and be done with it.

sorry forgot to add that the timings at 17.5*. how do think itll be like with 191's or .022. are they the same? cruising 70 the egt's are like 800*. also with a constant haze i can squeek 19 mpg empty through the mountains going to N. Carolina at 6900 LBS.
