AFE intercooler pipe

WTH? theyre claiming 20hp and 60 lb ft from replacing one intercooler pipe for 225 bucks?Is the stock one that bad?

Hahahah... sucker! Read the fine print. It says when used in comb with CAI and exhaust. That is the dumbest thing I have seen. There is a thread on cumminsforum about a guy using a standard 3in S/S bent tube and clamps for half of what that pipe cost. The stock tube pinches down to 2.5 then back to 3. That can't be THAT bad.

2.5" that should flow all the air a stocker even mildly modded truck would need. I wasnt thinking of buying one, just saw the add and was like WTF?
