As you know AFE offers several stage 2's to pick from. Well Mon-Fri I drive less than 5 miles to work. On the way to work, there is always construction going on, so the road gets very dusty. (In this case I need the type that helps get good filtration). During the weekend I drive to my ranch taking the highway of course, its about 90 miles from where I stay. (In this case I need the type that will help boost my MPG). I may have to call AFE but first I wanted some opinions from you guys. Which one do you think I need for my truck? 2006 dodge 5.9

I would run the pro guard 7 filter. It will flow all the air you will ever need but since it is oiled it will help trap the dust from the construction better than a dry filter.

I dont know that you will see any noticeable mpg increase with an intake. It is mainly to reduce egts.

I have ran the PG7 almost exclusively with a few thousand miles with a prodry S and my oil analysis always comes back with low silicon count.
