I have arp's on my 04 lb7 I push 40lbs of boost out of my A3K with no problems. I blew both head gaskets on 30 lbs of boost on stock head bolts and stock charger. I got my set from PPE for $575 shiped.

Really? Usually good to go on stock bolts and gaskets until 40-45lbs.

It all depends on the tune. I've seen blowen gaskets with stock bolts at 25 psi due to bad tuning. A good tune and standard ARP's are good to around 50 psi. We've got them in stock if you need them. Call for pricing 310-669-8101

Thats what I though to i'm pushing 31-32lbs and no problem yet lol:charger:. I just did the intake horn mod on the stock charger bored it out to 3.0in on digital micrometer and hope to see 2-3lbs of boost out of that atleast thats what everybody else is claiming to gain after the mod. We'll see once trans is back in truck if the claim holds true.

Yeah that's what I always heard too. But she blew em both with the stock charger on stock head bolts. It had the PPE hot +2 et on it running on level 10 with a PPE boost increase valve at the time 30 psi was the max it only held 25 psi. That why I bought the studs, I was scared to run it down the track again the warrety covered to HG's but she was sitin on 99k when it went into chevy garage.

We have ran as high as 125lbs boost with arps and stock gaskets. Never blew a head gasket but every thingelse did not like it( rods, inj. cups, aftercooler, piping )

I got a Q is it really worth running 125psi??? I know your a strict race truck but is it that much more efficent to run that much boost? Does it help clean up the smoke or just mainly help out power wise? I know alot of dmax's out there make good power with 50-70psi of boost but 125 wow thats alot I'm used to hearing about cummins in the triple digit psi numbers. I maybe behind the times but this is the first dmax I've heard of in the triple digits so kudos on the high numbers. What do you guess your hp and torque are at the crank and rear wheels running that kinda boost? If you don't mind me asking

Nope didn't help one bite. It builds the same hp and almost the same tq at 85 psi.
Our dyno goes to 1000 hp, so we know it does that. Tq numbers were 1700 something. Any thing higher than that would only be a guess.
