Is there such thing as a decent affordable injector pop tester? I would really like to have one to test injectors.

Wow I didnt know they were that cheap. I have seen several "do it yourself" type units but if the Bosch one is just $300 I will just buy one.

Good lord... Why not use a cross over tube and adapt to the more common threads that the actual lines use???

Did you ever pop test 24v injectors? I have a machine shop version of the miller and it's about the best thing made...really!

Not yet, work mostly on Ag and haven't had one through the shop yet... I am going to assume that I should get the new adapter when I do.

I got my used OTC Nozlrater II w/Miller #8301 adapter off of eBay a coupla years ago.

If you want to test 24v cummins injectors, then yes...but that is probably the only application you will be able to use it for. Kinda sucks!

Do the later model 8.3 and 5.9/6.7 cummins that use the VP44 style pump use the same style injectors? If so that actually would cover a wide aray of the CaseIH tractors and some of the earlier McCormicks (I think they're Common rail now). We just don't see much other than Deere tractors in our shop and most are 40 series and older.
