aftermarket lift pump?

my uncle just bought a 99 one ton dually and is looking for an aftermarket lift pump to mount on the side of the frame. i put a little carter pump on one of my friends 12 valves and recommended that but he says he can't find one or something. what would be a good, relatively cheap pump that he could use?
he wants to bypass the factory lift pump.

By cheap, how cheap is he thinking? If I were him, I'd do a fass 95 or a air dog 100.

i am runnin a holley blue electric fuel pump. works out pretty well. no problems to speak of and got it for 85 bucks

i also told him to get a holley blue but he says he can't find one anywhere. what kind of fuel pressure do you see with a holley blue?

he wants something he can pick up a store locally, won't do the whole shipping thing. haha

he won't spend the money for a fass system. (4 kids in college).
