AIH delete, Solenoid removed, BLUE WIRE??

i deleted AIH and i also got rid of the solenoid that controls it..soo i removed the red and black wires completely from the truck..i did this cause i figured it was pointless to remove the AIH and leave the solenoid there just with 2 wires on it..i electrical taped all the wires and just tucked them down in the engine valley..i will only get a soft code correct??? i want to keep the solenoid off the truck should i just put a resistor on the blue wire and take it to ground to be safe?? and if soo what size resistor should i buy??
 
If you remove the solenoid you will get a CEL. Just remove the larger wire from the solenoid to the AIH. Its not going to hurt anything to leave the solenoid there.
 
Solenoid has been off my truck for years, no CEL, only a soft code. Theres no point in trying to get rid of the soft code.
 
its removed no CEL, but prob a soft code and really cleaned up the engine bay getting them wires out of there
