So im on my way to work today. Its freezing cold outside, but I have a 35 mile drive so my truck is warm. I get to the stop sign at the edge of town and wait for traffic. When I turned I laid into the throttle. When I let out of it the engine died. It wouldnt restart so I figured I air locked the lines. When I went to bleed the lines I noticed some oil on the engine and the ground. Well I got the engine running and limped it to work. When I got to work I noticed there was oil everywhere. It was all over the engine compartment now. Dripping from the front end. It was all over the hood and running down the front fenders. I just had my truck towed home. Now I have to figure out where its all coming from. Im wondering could the abrupt let out of the throttle caused this? Even now starting the truck it lopes hard for a few seconds and then smoothes out. It drove fine the rest of the way to work. No strange noises either. Im going to start looking things over. I just cant believe the amount of oil it puked out. What a mess.
