After putting a mvp in the set up with the tst set on kill, when letting off quick it will shut the engine down. I about shut it down last night on a hard run but it ran a little rough but straighten up, and it waited a few seconds before it happen after the hard run!

Tonight i took my cousin for a ride after adding the mvp and i was in high gear and just rolled into it for a few seconds and let off like always with tst and we drove for (it seemed like 3-5 seconds) and it shut down.

I have read about this problem and some had the problem and some didnt, so said put larger tubes in but that makes me think it would be worse. And i have .093 with stock lines (what i had with ppump). Kenny is got my stocker to drill the filter out at the moment.

But my ? is would a bigger pump help with this problem, I have a SO on it now and like it but dont like the airlocking problem?

Also it has mild sticks.

I was wondering if i stepped up a little on the pump to say mikes stage 1 if it would help?

If u pedel the throttle after u leen on it, it will do funny things (some of it is the vgt charger) but will straighten up and not air lock, the way i have the tst wired up it fuels harder on bottom end also (I think) probley should do some testing but im lazy!

I no this has been talked about in the past but i never heard of anyone that had solved the problem, besides a three .75 wrench or spray to get the engine started back!

I like the SO pump but if the bigger pumps have better flow at the soliniod i would try one to see if it would help!

Bump the throttle a few times after coming off wide open and try not to come completely out of it. Should help from draining the rotor.

Yea that helps or going up hill does also.lol But if u dont have much road left its not fun!

What do u guys with say mikes pumps sled pulling (do u have to be on the throttle) after u spin out (that would suck if auto)?

Also it helps turning the tst down to 5 or turn the mvp, but it will still run dry if u turn it hard lolding the engine, did it once and it fired right back but i had road to let the engine turn faster than the starter!lol

This^^^
Either don't chop the throttle, or be ready to tap it when you do. That's how VPs behave, I don't think Mikes pump will change that for you

Thanks i really dont want to change anything because how it runs with this set up and the little 351 may not like going any further in the twighlight zone either.

Just dont want to hurt the pump (like to dyno first)!lol
