What are some places that sell guilotine style air shut off's? Thanks.

ED's are not gillatine style, they are round flapper style . most just buy the good old cheap Mcmaster Carr blast gates they are like 10 bucks for a stainless one, and they do work had mine pulled twice now and it shuts it right down

Ya i have used the rain caps, i want something a little more reliable.

I am going to use a push pull cable for in the cab, have not figgured out what i am doing for the sled hook up though.:bang

2 springs that simple hook right on them.

push pull is great, what you need to do is run 2 seperate ones to a bracket where you run a single one to the shut off

for the sled i used a 20' roll of copper tubing with a 1/8" cable from farm and fleet run through it. made bracket on the back like someone had posted here to run a zip tie through so the sled won't pull the whole cable out.

we used to do that also, it is just far easier and cleaner to use morse cable. and you can buy it on ebay for 20.00

how long does the morse cable need to be? Longest I can find on Ebay is 22', BUT it is $103.

Edit: Found one that is 24' for $40.
