i am sorry guys... could you please tell me how these work... and what they will do...... i am new to this kinda stuff... just wondering.... thank you

Don't think your going to need this setup to make the power we were talking about and if you are going to run it on the street as a cruiser then you will need a bigger holding tank and a constant duty pump......yes I looked at it years ago!

well, i've been running hot air, i dont have room for an air/air intercooler and had planned on running a air/water for some time. as for tank size i anticipated that. i going to run my water injection in same tank for the IC.

its the tank on right

Ill get you some dimensions tonight. I have one sitting at the house that I have to get shipped to a guy. Ill measure it up for ya tonight and post it. The Inlet and outlets on it are 4".

i think your gonna need more water than that to run your truck on the street

a lot more...

hopefully i am wrong

ps - love your truck - you ever think of putting a sump in the fuel tank and relocating your pump? works a lot better if the pump is below the fuel

i figure 5 gal would be enough and have the waterpump on a toggle switch, i dont plan on road trips, but just cruising around town i figure i dont need the water circulating, just when im gonna get serious.

Actually you can damage the intercooler if you don't have water circulating through it as the water will overheat, that's why everyone (in the gasser world) run a continuous duty pump. Your looking at air temps out of singles in the +400 range and +550 on Twins, no need to add ice all the time on the street but a decent size radiator with fans on it comes to mind.

Food for thought!

i would never think of running one on the street

kinda like running a radiator in a boat

you got all that cool air right in front of your truck

with transcooler in front i have about 3/8 a inch of room, if i relocated the cooler i would have about 1.5" of room. not quite enough for a cooler in front.

sure i could make room if i swaped for 91-93 front end, or cut the crap outa my grill.

My entire setup fits neatly in the bed, and a gallon or two is all thats needed if your heat exchanger is big enough.
Even on a hot day I can get almost ambient with my setup.
I have the pump triggered both manually and on a boost switch so it doesnt have to run all of the time

Of course I forgot to get the dimensions. The inlets and outlets are 4". The entire middle section is the core. You can kind of get a figure on it judging by the inlet. I got another here at work. Ill measure it up on my lunch if i remember:bang
