AirDog 150 mounting....

I broused through the instructions, so I might have missed it... when mounting the AirDog which is better... closer to tank or closer to motor?

The kit comes with -8 x 3/8 fittings... can -10 x 3/8 fittings be used?

Ya.... the hose barbs are -8 x 1/2 hose barb, but the fittings to the pump block are listed as -8 x 3/8 NPT....

Thanks for the tip on locating the pump.... closer to the tank it is!

But... since I'm gravity feeding this pump through 5/8" line, doesn't closer to the motor make sense or am i missing the boat?
