the other day, I started my truck and after it warmed up I tried boosting and I could ONLY hit about 20-22psi. Ever since then I can only boost to 20-22psi on ANY level on my edge. No matter what I do. I adjusted and looked at all my coupler and even tore off the compressor housing and cleaned it and put it back on with a new v-clamp. I'll try lock-up my torque switch, level 1x5 or 5x5......it wont boost past 20-22psi and you can feel that it is lacking in power. I experienced this problem once before when I had my hx35 on it, but for some reason it went away a hour or two later. I am thinking that this has something to do electroniclly, or else it would at least creep up or change psi when more fuel was added if there was a leak.........

Its your map sensor connection, The stock boost level is 20-22psi and the edge does boost fooling through the map sensor, so that is where the problem is.

I was thinking it was the edge, too, but it still smokes like a SOB on 5x5 but only goes to 20psi. My lift pump is 21@ idle, 17WOT

Before I would do any of that , disconnect the Edge and run it . This will tell you if you have a EDGE issue or the MAP sensor.

Map Sensor/connection or boost Leak is what I would check. make sure all the IC boots are on and the clamps are securely in place.

I disconnected the edge from the map sensor (leaving it hooked up to the harness) and still only 20psi. This turbo is no longer wastegated (the top arm is welded) but I think that the flap is either bent or melted. I have to cut apart part of the exhaust housing in order to access the wastegate flapper. Hopefully that will fix it. I might just find a different turbo

well, I'm going to a water/air intercooler in a month or so... I might just pile up my new injectors, nitrous, t76 (for twins), manifold, and water/air i/c set up in my garage and put it all in as soon as I get my new transmission
