Id like to know also. I thought there was a thread awhile ago about using a ford f350 front shaft or something but I could never find it. They talked of using bigger joints also but??

I'm running the Dana 60 spicer joints in my front. They're slightly bigger than the AAMs, so you have to grind the yokes out slightly on the AAM axles. Also, there's alot more options available for the Dana 60 fronts...CTM, etc if you really need the strength.
I can probably dig up specs and/or pics of when I did mine if you need.

Spicer 5006813 U Joint
This is the U-joint that you want for the AAM, it is the correct SPICER joint for the 9.25 AAM. Don't waste your time grinding out the yokes to fit the DANA 60 1480 joint. The 5006813 is as strong as the 1480 spicer and nothing needs to be done but press it in. Hope this helps.
