lucas oil

i would not use it. where i work we have a oil lab , one of my workmates has a 03 cobra he was using 1 quart of lucas syn. oil additive at oil changes ,this stuff http://www.lucasoil.com/products/display_products.sd?iid=49&catid=7&loc=show . anyway he was paying about $10 a quart. we sent a sample of the lucas to the lab . the report showed it did not have anyyhing in it ,it was just a oil thickern. it had no protection in it at all. the lab tech said you would be better to put some 75w90 in your engine, at least it would have some antiwear agents. i think lucas is junk.

the best thing you can do for your truck as far as oil is run Valvoline Extreme Premium Blue 5w40.
