Any brand name gears to avoid?

I'm looking to re-gear my pulling truck this fall. Any brand names to avoid?

I think they did rubberboots in the beginning, then tires, then cellphones and other electronics

Iv never had any problems with yukon gears. iv installed close to 8 sets in different trucks and never had an issue.

i've installed yukon gears in mud trucks and my cj7 running 1 ton diffs and had no problems.

I run the yukons but don`t have enough power to break plastic gears.

I install gears regularly, and avoid Motive and Genuine.

I only install Yukon or Precision. We have yet to have a failure.

I have found that genuine dana hold up better then yukon.

I ve Installed Yukons for years, and never had a problem. Just make sure your preload and lash are fine and things will be good.

Some people say yukon axles are bad but they may have bought thewrong ones you have to talk to someone at Randys Ring and Pinion they will set you strait I have been running their gears and axles in a 2 wd for years now with no issues
