Anybody ever had to replace a TV cable?

Just wondering if anybody has ever had to replace one for one reason or another? Was attempting to adjust mine the other day and it was extremely stiff down by the transmission. I think I got it freed up some what.

Is a dealer the only source for a TV & throttle cable new? My throttle cable has started to fray also.

I had to replace one on a 94 about a month ago. At 390k the cable was starting to fray and stick in the housing. I'll have to ask my boss to make sure, but I don't think it came from a dealer.

Please do...I would appreciate a heads up on somewhere else to get one.

I replaced mine and the only place I could get it was a dealer. You could call them and get the part number for it and maybe find one on ebay or from an online dodge parts store. Good luck.
