anybody had ecm failures on vp44 truck

truck wont start, narrowed down to ecm or pump

I had one fail on my brothers truck. It threw about 10 different codes which wouldn't erase

I lost 2 in mine before I p-pumped it, which is a lot of the reason I did it.

My buddy's truck lost one for some reason. Replaced it with a used one and it was fine.

Had a few go bad with the pump mounted pcm.... i had good luck with repairing the bad circuits inside.

I've seen alot of ECM failures on 2nd gen 24v's.

I seen a truck with a Bullydog that lost not just one but two ECM and now runns a different programer.

I was chatting with him last night. He said he has fuel at each injector, but barely seeping out. I think he has pump issues, not ecm.

I had fuel to each injector when my ECM went on my truck. I think it was just lift pump pressure pushing by as the rotor turned in the pump.

Finally got my truck to run, only idle though. had to disconnect the datalink wires at the pump connector. these wires establish communication between the pump and ecm. when the wires are connectedtruck wont run it kills it once running.
