If so how do you have it set up? I was told by the people at fass that I need to put the 15psi spring back in and then regulate the return flow with another regulator. Right now with the big spring the fass returns no fuel. If I put the 15psi spring in it will return fuel. alot of fuel. I'm thinking I could put the 15psi spring in and plumb a needle valve inline instead of anither regulator. Thoughts? Opinions?

I do, aeromotive 1305 here. If you search you'll find many more who also have a similar setup.

I think that two regulators (the FASS internal and the additional external) are kind of redundant. But my FASS spring/ball have worn over the years so my aeromotive now does the work instead.

If you have the external set lower than the FASS you'll loose the air separation feature of the FASS.
Some people use the boost reference feature and let the FASS limit max pressure. You can also remove the FASS spring and ball and plumb the regulator in the return line if you wanted to be able to adjust it. IIRC when Dan was working for FASS he recommended if you use an additional regulator to try to set them as close as possible so they share the work and you keep the air separation feature.

I think this is along the same lines as what they told me. They just prefer to have a spring and ball in there rather than none at all. I'm basically looking to eliminate the regulator in the fass and run what ever pressure I want via my external regulator. Im looking for over 60lbs of pressure wide open.
