Yep, it does still do the top speed emiminator part when it off, but the gauges all come back on. I've been using one since 03, and have about 1800 1/4 mile passes using one.

Works well and is required if you racing/pulling an auto truck that has TM. I do recall the directions being a little confusing, but just take your time and you'll figure it out---locating the correct harness was the issue I think. The only drawback to the RAD is that it takes away the dash gauges---but who actually looks at those when they're racing or pulling anyway?
