I have got myself an oldschool ST50 for free, its in good shape, not needing a rebuild or anything (its been reman'd at some point in its 40 year life!). So i figured WTF, ill grab it...

I was thinking of maybe hacking up a set of small twins with it using my HX35 with it.

I have had one hell of a time finding anything on this old turbo and im not even sure what it flows or if its even worth the effort....

My goal is 500hp, but the more the merrier. The truck is my daily driver (well, except for now, since i nuked the pump) and i quite regularly tow with it, usually not alot of weight (just the boat or camper) but on occasion i tow upwards of 20,000lbs+ on the goose.

Any thoughts on an HX35/ST50 setup?

only thing I know about it is it's a 2.9" inducer and a t-6 turbine flange, I also have one that's been sitting in the shop for years and years. been thinking of making a combustor and building a jet engine out of it for a go-cart.

haha, thought of the jet engine idea too (probably all its good for...) but figured i would see about using it on the dodge first!

I remember looking once, but I cant recall the A/R of the exhaust housing, but I did figure it was a little smaller than an S475. it may end up working decent as a small primary, I know that physically it's huge, but internally it's fairly small.

Yea, the housings are definitely huge for the wheel sizes!

Havent gotten the turbine housing off yet (rusted on there solid, so its soaking in squirrel piss now), but when i popped the comp housing off i got a bit of a surprise...

Amongst alot of other tools, my calipers have decided to wander off somewhere to hide so i cant get a decent measurement on the wheels. Tape measure shows about 5" for the exducer on the comp wheel.
