I have a used set of ARP 625 5.9/6.7L Cummins head studs.
Were purchased new, installed and torqued to 170 ft lbs. Re torqued hot once.

Removed from truck I sold last year.

$950 shipped to lower 48
Pay Pal accepted; Buyer pays 3% fees

Located in Las Vegas NV

I think your real issue is 170ft/lbs pretty sure that's way over torqued

I torque all 625 studs to 170ft lbs. My current set has IIRC four or five pulls over the years. I've never stretched, broke or pulled any threads. However a calibrated torque wrench, good thread cleaning, excessive use of ARP lube and the final pull from 145 lbs to 170 procedure has netted me these great results.

Thanks for your input.

I actually didn't install them; a reputable shop that I use did. The shop torqued them to ARP specs. When they told me according to ARP specs I thought final torque was 170 :lolly: My mistake guys.

$875 firm for Comp D members. Guys please don't waste your time offering $626 :thankyou2:
