arp head studs

ok i was going to do some allen head bolts but a set of headstuds came up on local craigslist so i am going to get them is there any way to check them and to make sure they are still ok to use?? the guy said they were only torqued one time..

Not really. A far as I know arp doesn't give a length or anything. Best way would probably be visual. If they've been on a truck for awhile they won't look new unless it just sat.
