I bought the arp 12mm head studs for my truck and was wondering if they would work on an 06??

ARP part numbers 427-4202(2000 series) and 427-4204(Custom) are the only ARP sets for a CR.

HAHAHA...I knew it didn't look right. Your right...the part number prefix is 247 not 427. Those are what you need for your CR.

ok i wasn't going to try to correct you. But yeah i bought some studs along time ago and still thinkin if i should put those and orings injectors/turbo or just save the $ and buy an 06-07 5.9 and was just curious if i could use them on the CR trucks.

The 4204 are called "Custom AGE 625+. " They are stronger and can withstand a higher clamping force 150ft/lb +. The 4202 set is your basic 12mm studs ARP lists them at 110ft/lb but there are threads on here about torquing them to 140+.

the 247 4202 is a ARP 2000 that will work in cummins 1998.5 to 2002 24 valve and 2003 to presiend CR including the 6.7 the torque value is 125

247 4204 are the Custom new age 625 stud that will yeild the same clamping load as a 14 mm stud while using a 12 mm stud . the torque on these are 150+
