it was a good hook for me, got a hold of the track and ran the R's out. sled was heavy and track was tacky, lots of guys falling off chargers and digging in hard. they had 2 weights in the box for the modified class, they originally had 2 in for the stock class but had to take one out so the trucks could get up close to 300. even with 1 weight in the box it was pulling stock charger trucks down to the point of almost stalling out.

it was a good night tho, got another big trophy to put on the shelf.

thats exactly what happend. when i heard and felt it stumble i looked at the fuel pressure guage and it was reading 0. then it jumped back to 40.

do you think it would have came out in the other gear if you tried it again or do you think that the way it was loading it up that is what caused the FP to drop?

I wish I would have looked at the fuel pressure when it killed it on the line on the first attempt. It was unexpected, and thought "well I don't know what that's all about but I'm not gonna waste my final attempt." so I dropped a gear.

The way it felt I think it will run the next gear.

not sure what youa re gonna do about the fuel pump but i run a FASS 150/180 at 42psi with dual feed and it never drops below 39psi at WOT
