ATI Super Damper Pulley Issues

Have a 12 valve motor that was put in a 96 Ford. The motor had an ATI Super Damper on it. Problem is the crank pulley that is behind the damper rubs the front cover where the two oil pan bolts thread in just slightly. Seems to get worse when the motor warms up (go figure).

Since this motor was just dropped in and it was not taken apart can anyone tell me how this pulley is attached to the damper? Could the pulley move at all?

The install instructions on the ATI site don't really cover this exact damper so just looking for some info before we tear it off the front of the motor.

Thanks

The pulley shouldn't be able to move if the bolts are tight. I know on our billet front cover we had to machine the pulley for clearance. I have never ran one on a factory front cover.

There are 4 bolts that go through the damper to the belt pulley.

Ok, thanks. We will check and make sure it's not bent and wobbling then pull it apart and take a look.
