how does it compare to the normal pulseflow manifolds? and what are the major benifits. also is it worth the extra money?

thanks

The port opening are bigger and only require a tad bit of smoothing, the outlet is a huge difference over a T-3 or a stocker, about twice the area.

Here you go, I went out and snapped these pics, top one is a stocker, bottom a big foot.

I have one on order. Will see how it does with one of the custom turbos from ED.

those pics must be old Jim ? the last 3 T4 ATS manifolds that came threw my shop had the same size ports in it it but it had a T4 flange . just a waste of money I think if the ports aren't gonna be enlarged. I ended up having to have Glen at Engineered Diesel threw them in there CNC and open them up to T4 size.

Nope, I did take the pics till right in the middle of the post.....before it timed out. The manifold I got from Peak(drop shipped) last fall, I doubt I would use an ATS again after you say that, I'll just get a PDI from Industrial.

After seeing this manifold I made the statement that I'll never buy another T-3 version. 94 12V....yes you can, call Chris or Glen at E.D. for the adapter, there service rocks.

So are does ats still run the larger ports, or are they small ports with the t-4 foot. Planned on buying one, but may think twice now.

Have used them for a while, 3 or 4 in the last month and all have had the large ports ,have never saw one with small ports. They are actually a little to big, bigger than the ports on a t-4 housing.

Does it match the port size?

so it seems you can get lucky and get the t4 big port or get screwed and get a t4 small port ?? i guess it is just a gamble. I am just glad that ED could help me out and port the ones we had.

Well i think the better flow of a T4 manifold with a T3 charger and smooth adapter would greatly improve spoolup due to the venturi effect of speeding the gasses up by passing them through a smaller yet smooth transition.

yes, but why?

because I have a silver bullet with the t-3 foot on my truck now with a stock manifold that is cracked. I plan on upgradeing to the bigfoot for the s465 with a t-4 foot that I plan on putting on at the end of the year.

hummm any thoughts on this?

I was told the ports were much bigger, but have not seen it yet. Supposed to be in next week.

Im pretty much doing the same as you.

If I install my HX52 w/T4, I'd rather do it with the Bigfoot instead of a short area change adapter.
