Looking in to buying an ATS Co-Pilot, is it worth the money for a everyday driver occasional race track truck. I would like to know what people's opinion is on it.

i owuld like to know what people are running this as well on the 48re trans aswell. i took the hts trans i had in my 05 and put it into my 04.5 with out the electronic shift but still have it and would like to go back to it

yeah i have an early '03 with a 47re just got rebuilt with triple disc conv. valve body the works. and i can get the co-pilot locally from some guy on craigslist brand new in box for cheap. i just am not sure if its worth it.

i think ats is pretty much the only stand alone controller for the 48 re's

yeah im not too sure im kinda new to alot of this stuff. Im tryin to learn some stuff before i go spending my money. now that i have gotten my trans done im leaning toward buying a smarty and a fuel pump system just tryin to decide what i need to get it all done right. so any input is much appreciated.

thats what i was lookin at. the airdog seems quite a bit cheaper that the FASS. is the fuel air separation part worth the extra money like they advertise or no. would i need bigger draw straws or any of that stuff.

okay well ill probably go ahead and spend the extra money for it. down here in florida around me nobody has heard of the smarty everybody thinks the damn bully dog is the best you can get. id like to be the first around here with one.

nah smarty is the best programmer out there and once you get the mods you can talk to bob wagner and get the tnt race program for 4k rpms there are many levels of programming for the smarty programmer i'm might be buying a second smarty to keep the tnt race on and revo for everyday driving

First off, if you plan on racing your truck the Co Pilot is worth it, knocked 3 tenths off for my truck. And here is the proof in the pudding as too how bad a bullydog is. I have dyno'd with diablosport, ppe hot+2 and bullydog with a custom tune... 1014 diablo, 991 ppe,, 931 bullydog.... and the smarty, while I dont have dyno proof, is definatly stronger than the diablo.
