Alright guys I need some help here. I purchased a full billet 47re from garmon we went with a manual valve body. The truck it is going in is a 95 model with 5spd. The issue I am having and cant get my head wrapped around is the tv and kickdown cable. Now I have the bracket that goes on the trans. jeff is sending it my way as well as I picked up the cable from the dodge place now here is were I am having issues. With the truck being a 95 5spd I dont have the linkage that the cable hooks too on the pump throttle linkage. So i went to the dodge place and we pulled up both diagrams of the linkages for a 94-95auto, and a 96-98 auto and boy am I lost!!!! I know i will not need the tps sensor. So my question is will i need to just bite the bullet and buy an completely new throttle linkage setup for a 96-98 12valve minus the tps or can I get the bracket for a 94-95 47rh and the kickdown cable still work with that or can i just buy the bracket I need to bolt to my current throttle linkage to work with the kickdown cable. If anyone has any input I greatly appreciate it!!! Or if you happen to have the complete linkages let me know.

Here is linkage for a 96-98 with 47re, any idea which piece/bracket the tv cable hooks to?

on the 96-98 diagram... #23 goes to the bottom end of #10.... it goes from the bracket, straight back down the firewall to the t-case then loops to the tranny.... follow me ?
like a J shape, rotated to the left 90 degrees.

it goes in the square hole that is kinda pointed downwards on about a 30 degree. angle.. and has a plastic clip that slides onto a ball/stud on that lever assembly

best i can do... i may be able to get a pic or 2 for ya

I think it's part #25. Can you order seperate parts and pieces? I've ghetto rigged my TPS and TV cable and it's working fine but I wouldn't mind having it done correctly.

I have a manual valve body with the TV shaft wired to the "WFO" position.

To tell you the truth I couldn't tell a difference no matter the position I rotated the shaft, so I wired it all the way WFO position since I'm told that would minimize transmission wear (while maximizing U-joint and tire destruction, which is fun).

Maybe it'd be more noticeable if I had more than 300 horsepower. At any rate, I couldn't figure out how to get the crap-engineered B&M shifter bracket to work in conjunction with the TV cable, so safety wire it will be.

So #23 is the kickdown cable mopar defines it as throttle control cable which i already have and i see how the square piece in the main bracket the square holder on the cable seats in that.

As for #10 that could possibly be the bracket Im in need of that the kickdown hooks too anybody have a definate answer on this.
And #25 is listed as bracket, throttle control cable but it has no hook for the end of the cable to snap to from the looks of it?

Tyler yes I can get all the parts piece by piece I have a price sheet in front of me for every specific #just let me know what you need and I can check availability the guy today told me 5-7 days on most of the stuff.

I'll get back to you on that. Right now I'm locating a new pitman arm.

Yup. Steering box is fine. Pitman arm, not so fine. Been hearing a clunk sound for a couple of months now and finally decided to figure out what it was. Whoops. LOL

that metal peice...... has a ball/stud deally on it kinda like the throttle linkage only smaller... as u pull the throttle it pulls the tv cable @ the same time.. both should be max'd out @ full throttle position... if it was wired in the WFO position... you'd think it'd make shifts rougher... but once it was in gear i don't think it'd be that big of a deal... it increases line pressure as speed goes up.... my BD pressure loc holds it @ the half throttle position as soon as the TCC locks up.

hmm you have access to a decent wrecking yard ? i know i could probably pick up like 4 of those assemblies from mine

It should "makes shifts rougher", but when the manual valve body breaks a tire loose on the 1st to 2nd shift and 2nd to 3rd shift anyways, I couldn't tell a difference.

Ya jeff told me I could pin it all the way open but it would be a pain in the *** to drive on the street.

I believe on my bracket I have a return spring hooked up where the tv cable would go?

Alright guys thanks for the help and the pics. After talking with Brad Ponci I was told to just remove the spring as seen in the ^^^ pic and run the tv cable throught the bracket and hook it were the spring goes and it works without a flaw!!!
