How do you overcome the check engine light, when you switch from an auto to stick?? truck is a 2000.

Do you change out the J-tech pcm to a stick and if so how do you overcome the vin compliance and mileage on the speedo?

does someone reprogram them?

I'm putting in an ally and will have the same issues when the 47 re is gone and the ally goes in, computer will no longer see the transmission........

no lights on a 2001 swap
 
I have a friend that did the trans swap and his light is on because of his gov pressure regulator and speed sensor.....
 
my speedo sensor is on the rear axle.

i start the truck up, trans temp and something else trans related come on for 10-15 seconds then shut off.
 
I just read on this forum that Bob Wagner supposedly can reflash the pcm's

Any one know?
