Im converting my 3500 single wheel into a dually. I was wondering what all in the rear axle do i need to change?

Just the rear axle. That's it. Nothing else.

On edit: let me rephrase that. A single wheel axle and dual wheel axle are not the same width. The differential, spring perches, shocks, etc are the same. You must get a dual wheel axle and swap it in place of your single wheel axle to run dual wheels.

I ran 3" billet steel against the hub with no issue. Actually have it on one of our welding rigs that lost a axle as we speak. Towed my truck all over with no issues

You could use a spacer. But that's not the proper way to do it. You also end up putting extra weight on the outer bearing than nessasary. Like standing at the end of the diving board.

If all you needed was a spacer then I would think Spacers would be factory on dual wheeled axles.
