Got my new tires on this week and had back to back pulls for the first time.

Saturday night got a big win at the biggest pull in our area, nice to be on top again after really stinking that place up this year with 2 horrible runs.

The today went to the farm fair in the next county where I won last year putting 24' on 2nd, and repeated with the only full pull of the day going 314' putting 21' on 2nd place again. (2nd place was the green/yellow John Deere 12v pulling truck from Ohio that a local guy bought and had a motor built for it)

Congrats man! That thing sounds mean at 4000.

funny thing is for the first time since having the redline i didnt hit 4k on either pull, i eased the clutch out at about 3850-3900 and let it drag me down to around 3400.

I take it that was at the Buck? If so what class did you pull?

modified diesel at the Buck...I dunno why they have rules tho. they let twin turbo twin CP3 trucks run, and p-pumped 24v's but then a mild 12v shows up and looks like its "too much of a pulling truck, not street truck" and they start asking him for all his inspection stickers and registration. in two years i've never seen another person get asked for those things.

I've had guys trying to get me up there for a while. I figured it would be a twins class. I wanted to come for this event but my clutch is on it's way out, again. Looks like I'll try in Sept.

They call it street mod. Its just a 2.8 street class and ya cant hang weight.

That would be cool. A 4 hour trip to pull against twins would stink.

Thats funny That box always let me rev to 4100 or so and then I would dump the clutch

its ran 4100 before, i just never went that high this weekend, i didnt go hammer down until about 75' out when the clutch was engaged.

Hey TJ congrats on the great pulls and the wins. Looks like you really have it dialed in!
